Your herd data is saved to a local JSON file you choose — no cloud, no accounts.
Give the new file a name of its own: the save dialog replaces a file you pick, and the browser empties it as soon as you confirm.
The app reads and writes a herd_data.json file directly on your computer. Pick any folder — you can keep it next to the HTML file.

Set the breed-out stat (default: VIG). Animals that can't be ridden or don't produce resources → breed out INS instead. Then set species goals and star-weight phenotypes/bloodlines.
Select an animal above to view its lineage tree.
Permanently deletes all animals, pairs, goals, ID counters, sightings, the log and the layout (card order, card widths and collapsed cards). The next animal of each species gets the first ID again. Your data file, or the browser's copy if you use browser storage, is overwritten immediately. This cannot be undone.
Export your herd as a CSV for spreadsheet viewing or external backup. Import a CSV to restore or bulk-add animals.
Import animals from the game's own Mounts.json (in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Icarus\Saved\PlayerData\<SteamID>\).
The file only holds animals parked at the station. You get a preview of new, changed and missing animals before anything is saved.
The file is only read, never changed.
Generate a shareable image of your animals — great for posting on forums or Discord. The image is copied to your clipboard automatically; a download button appears as a fallback.
